Batch One

I think I photographed 16 sessions yesterday. And it went flawlessly, thanks to incredibly happy babies and kids and one super docile bunny.

Spring is in bloom!

Finally...today...real life commences, and it feels good to get back to work a bit.

so behind on photography posts and so many pictures i've wanted to post...

...but a few of baby joey who i get to see every three months for his baby's first year package.
he's a crazy happy baby with these lucious lashes, and i just want to eat him up.











...and i have several to edit of this little guy, but wanted to get this one up.
holy miracle baby.

chase's parents were told he wouldn't live. he spent the first four months of his life in a hospital, and his family was basically told it was a matter of time before they'd say goodbye. eighteen months and a couple of well-earned tummy scars later, this guy has proved everyone wrong.
his mama is organizing a fund-raiser (i'll post more info later) this february and wanted a picture to somehow capture what he's been through...and she wanted his scars to be in the picture as proof. i had this idea late one night, and he went with it flawlessly today.
chase has beat the odds.
chase is a survivor.

this was my last shoot of the holiday season, and i owe a mama a sneak peek!

these pretty girls recently moved to naples and upon photographing them, we found out we have lots of mutual friends here...small town.

and since finding out we're having a girl, sister shoots just get me.

more from the working corner

i've been able to get so much done these last couple days and am finally seeing some major light at the end of the tunnel...like maybe friday, it will be finished for the most part.

so, i'm working late from my little desk in the working corner listening to this song over and over, drinking sugarless carbonated somethin'-or-other, feeling the baby kick like mad...or maybe dancing to this song. yes, i think she's a dancer.

...and while i've ended most of my shoots and have lots of work to do, i'll hopefully soon post my favorites from this season.

...feeling tired but totally blessed to be able to do this job...especially as the year comes to a close and i look back at all the fantastic people i've met and the meaningful relationships i've formed through doing this.
